Face Yoga is a natural approach to better looking skin.

I am certified teacher of the Danielle Collins Face Yoga Method. The Danielle Collins Face Yoga Method works to tone the skin and facial muscles, relax tension, smooth wrinkles, and boost blood flow. With a daily Face Yoga practice your face will look and feel healthy, firm, and radiant.

This method has 5 aspects and goes much deeper than just physical appearances. Although Face Yoga can help you look good on the outside it also focuses on feeling good on the inside.

It teaches us how to love the skin we are in and provides us with tools and techniques to feel amazing naturally.

 THE 5 ASPECTS OF THE DANIELLE COLLINS FACE YOGA METHOD: 

  1. Face Exercise: Just like the body benefits from regular exercise so do the 57 muscles in the face and neck. As these muscles are lifted and firmed through exercise the skin attached to the muscles is also lifted and tightened which reduces lines and wrinkles. Since the muscles on our faces are much smaller than on our bodies it takes less time to see results.

  2. Face Massage: Massaging the face helps to boost circulation, improve lymphatic drainage, lower tension, and release toxins which help reduce poor skin tone, dark circles, and puffiness. These techniques help to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, which helps to plump and firm the skin and give it its elasticity.

  3. Acupressure: Derived from ancient eastern traditions, acupressure works by pressing on meridian points in the body to increase the flow of life energy. This practice helps to reduce tension, increase circulation and gives a healthy glow to the skin.

To sign up do these two things…

  1. Select your time zone and schedule a date and time from my calendar & 2. submit payment. 

Prior to meeting:

I will email you to confirm your scheduled time and receipt of payment within 24 hours of submission. At that time you will receive a required new client questionnaire which I will need returned at least 24 hours prior to our session to create your personalized face yoga program.

This initial session is 50 minutes long and done via Zoom. I can also accommodate Skype or FaceTime requests if need be. Call information will be provided in my welcome email.

A 15 minute check in will take place 8-10 weeks after our first session.

Who can do face Yoga?

Anyone! As long as you don’t have any conflicting medical conditions which, in that case, you should check with your doctor prior to our session. Face Yoga is for anyone at any age who wants to have a healthy, glowing face. Face Yoga can help you lift and tone muscle, boost circulation, improve lymphatic drainage and relax tension at any age.


What if I have SKIN PROBLEMS or HEALTH ISSUES?

Face Yoga is gentle and effective for most people. However, if you have any medical conditions or skin concerns that might be problematic please check with your doctor prior to our session. Always work to your own level and do what feels good for you. When you sign up for a Private Face Yoga Session you are agreeing to the terms of my liability waiver.


CAN I DO FACE YOGA IF I HAVE HAD fillers, botox, or plastic surgery?

The exercises are safe for those who have had surgery or injectables but please confirm with your doctor prior to our session. Sometimes there is a waiting period after surgery needed for healing. Face Yoga will give your face a fresh glow, reduce tension and help minimize the need for further procedures. It is a great option for both those who are looking for an alternative to invasive procedures or those who want to compliment any past procedures.


How soon will I notice results from face yoga?

This will vary from person to person and how often you do your face yoga practice. You will get the best results from a consistent daily practice. If you do anywhere from 2 - 50 minutes per day you will notice a difference. Some results will be immediate but more significant results will appear within a week. After 2-4 months, you will notice you have less lines and tension and your skin will look healthier and more energized. Within 6-9 months people often say they look and feel younger and more relaxed. If you recall, the Northwestern University study showed that participants who did 30 minutes of Face Yoga daily for 20 weeks showed an almost 3 year age decrease in their skin’s appearance. For best results I recommend 20-30 minutes of Face Yoga daily, but you will still benefit and see results with less.


Will Face Yoga Give me wrinkles?

No it will not if you do it in the correct way. Wrinkles are often caused by repeated expressions. When you work with me I teach you how to do the exercises in a controlled way while relaxing the face to make sure you aren’t creating any new wrinkles while doing the exercises. Studies show that Face Yoga reduces wrinkles and doesn't cause them but make sure you learn techniques from a qualified professional online or in person.
